Abstract

Considerando los efectos alarmantes que la contaminación ambiental ha originado en el planeta, varias entidades a nivel mundial han planteado incluir el ambiente como eje transversal en los sistemas educativos. En nuestro contexto, el Ministerio de Educación Ecuatoriano institucionalizó el Programa de Educación Ambiental “Tierra de todos†, dirigido a niñas, niños y jóvenes de las instituciones educativas del Sistema Nacional de Educación y demás miembros de la comunidad educativa.
