A praça do ferreira – seus momentos de intervenção urbana em seus diferentes contextos: econômico, político e social

Abstract

O presente trabalho tem como objeto de estudo a Praça do Ferreira, localizada em Fortaleza – Ceará, Brasil, levando em conta as principais intervenções urbanas que a mesma foi submetida, e tendo como recorte temporal a origem da Praça até a contemporaneidade. Entretanto, dentro desse recorte, podemos estabelecer uma divisão de análise: a primeira tem como recorte temporal o ano de 1842, quando teve origem a praça até a última alteração em sua configuração físico-espacial, estabelecida em uma intervenção urbana efetivada em 1991; e a segunda considerada a partir desta última intervenção até a os dias de hoje.
