Abstract

Luego del terremoto del 16 de abril del 2016 ocurrido en las zonas costeras de Ecuador de Magnitud de 7.8 grados en la escala de Richter, las construcciones sufrieron daños en las infraestructuras viales y viviendas, producidos por fallas en el suelo como agrietamiento, asentamiento y deslizamientos de masas, es por ello que se ha realizado una investigación sobre la evaluación del comportamiento del suelo en el Cantón Portoviejo, Provincia de Manabí, Sector Ciudadela Universitaria en las Calle Wilfrido Loor Moreira e Italia de la Parroquia 12 de Marzo.
