Vozes da fronteira: imaginário cultural e simbólico de comunidade fronteiriça

Abstract

Esta escrita tem por objetivo estabelecer uma reflexão sobre discursos em relação a cidade de Foz do Iguaçu, que faz fronteira com o Paraguai e a Argentina, presentes na música regional “Isso é Foz do Iguaçu†, juntamente com os conceitos relacionados ao poder simbólico cultural e social (GEERTZ, 2008; BOURDIEU, 1989:1996; VIVEROS DE CASTRO, 2002). Mais especificamente, consiste em olhar para as representações das vozes sociais e culturais presentes na canção que são reproduzidas como verdades locais a partir de uma ‘comunidade imaginada’ (ANDERSON, 1993), onde é possível perceber, pela composição do autor, uma visão particular constituída socialmente.
