El trabajador social y su papel con los familiares de los niños que reciben atención en el centro especializado de rehabilitación integral nº 3 en la ciudad de Portoviejo (CRIE)

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio fue identificar el papel que cumple el Trabajador Social con los familiares de los niños que reciben atención en el Centro de Rehabilitación Integral Especializada en la ciudad de Portoviejo, para tener una visión más amplia acerca del rol; las funciones y actividades que desempeña el profesional en esta área. En el proceso de la investigación se utilizó una metodología descriptiva con un enfoque Cuali-cuantitativa, además se aplicaron las técnicas de la encuesta y entrevista a los familiares y a la Trabajadora Social de la Institución, evidenciando mediante los resultados la importancia que tiene el profesional en Trabajo Social dentro de un Centro de Rehabilitación debido a su gran aporte a la familia y a los niños.
