Desafios e possibilidades para um planejamento de recuperação, mitigação e compensação ambiental no lixão do município de PAUDALHO – PE

Abstract

El artículo pretende contribuir a la recuperación, mitigación y compensación ambiental del vertedero de Paudalho en Pernambuco. Es un estudio exploratorio compuesto por investigaciones documentales, bibliográficas y de campo. En este último se aplicaron entrevistas y una lista de verificación que contribuyó a la construcción de una matriz de evaluación de los impactos ambientales del área en cuestión. Los resultados mostraron que los recolectores de materiales reciclables trabajan en situaciones precarias e insalubres, reforzadas por el incumplimiento por parte del municipio de la Política Nacional de Residuos Sólidos (PNRS). Además, la forma en que se eliminan los desechos en el sitio causa problemas como la contaminación del agua (suelo y superficie), la proliferación de enfermedades y el riesgo de incendio. Se preparó un plan de acción para la recuperación, mitigación y compensación ambiental del vertedero.
