Estrategias comunicacionales para la adopción de mascotas a nivel municipal: un reto de las instituciones públicas

Abstract

En la actualidad existen varias asociaciones en Ecuador que luchan por los derechos y la creación de nuevas normativas que amparen a los animales pero no cuentan con el suficiente respaldo por parte de los organismos de control e instituciones públicas o privadas. En este sentido se realizó un microanálisis de las estrategias comunicacionales digitales utilizadas por la Alcaldía de Durán sobre la adopción de mascotas y el modo en que es percibido por jóvenes del cantón. Se realizó un trabajo de campo con una muestra probabilística de 90 estudiantes basados en una metodología de enfoque mixto, bajo una tipología descriptiva y explicativa apoyado en técnicas como la encuesta que sirvieron para medir algunos indicadores del estudio. Los principales resultados se basan en que se deben realizar más campañas de responsabilidad social, propagandas o movilizaciones convocadas por los entes municipales ecuatorianos para que los jóvenes protejan, salvaguarden y adopten animales de la fauna urbana.
