La equidad de género en el desarrollo local de Imías

Abstract

El propósito del trabajo es ofrecer ideas para reconocer que la equidad de género es un componente fundamental para el desarrollo local. En Cuba esta perspectiva ha tenido un alcance de vanguardia, la prioridad se expresa en el desarrollo económico-social territorial; en Imías, este elemento está propugnado por la producción de alimento, la sustitución de importaciones y otros renglones fundamentales que deciden niveles de satisfacción en las comunidades. La observación, entre otros métodos, permite apreciar los resultados en diversos programas que se implementan actualmente en el municipio. Durante la caracterización del tema relacionado con la participación de la mujer en el desarrollo local del municipio Imías, se pudo determinar la existencia de un conjunto de potencialidad en la mujer imiense y que sí es un ente activo en el desarrollo de este proceso de desarrollo local. La mujer imiense tiene toda la voluntad de compartir con eficacia en todas áreas que permitan el autoabastecimiento sociocultural y productivo del municipio y continuará favoreciendo el empoderamiento femenino en actividades de dirección y los servicios especializados en Imías.
