Programa de aquisição de alimentos em comunidades quilombolas: uma alternativa para o desenvolvimento local no portal do Sertão Baiano

Abstract

O presente artigo descreve sobre o PAA- Programa de Aquisição de Alimentos em comunidades quilombolas do Portal do Sertão da Bahia. Para tanto, realizamos uma pesquisa bibliográfica delineando o histórico da agricultura no Brasil para então citarmos sobre as comunidades quilombolas e o Guia de políticas públicas para a comunidade quilombola, que nos dá um norte quanto as políticas públicas para tais sujeitos, entre elas o PAA, sendo essa uma fonte de renda para que possam se desenvolver e manterem sua cultura, tradição e identidade, focando para tanto nas comunidades quilombolas do Portal do Sertão da Bahia.
