Planificación estratégica de herramientas computacionales fusionadas de imágenes SPECT-TC MATLAB área medicina nuclear convencional HCAM

Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo de investigación fue desarrollar una herramienta de fusión de imágenes médicas SPECT/TC. Para este estudio se elaboró una interfaz gráfica GUI en el entorno Matlab de fácil y amigable manejo, para ello se implementó una serie de algoritmos útiles en la fusión de imagen. Se usó pares de imágenes procedentes de tecnologías radiológicas distintas y relativas a un mismo paciente. Las conclusiones en base a los resultados obtenidos colaboran en el camino hacia la definición del mejor algoritmo de fusión posible que pueda definir la más óptima detección de patologías en pacientes. El objetivo principal es estar a la par con la evolución de la tecnología, y así permitir a los radiólogos o médicos de diagnóstico dar una mejor definición de la patología presentada.
