Igualdad de género: empleabilidad en la profesión del secretariado ejecutivo

Abstract

El objetivo de la investigación fue analizar la situación de empleabilidad del profesional varón en Secretariado Ejecutivo graduado de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí, usando como estrategia de tipo cuantitativa, con la metodología descriptiva, con los métodos: bibliográfico, analítico, descriptivo y estadístico; técnicas: Recopilación documental, encuesta, estadística; e instrumentos: guía de preguntas, cuadros estadísticos, ficha bibliográfica, aplicada al 100% de los estudiantes varones graduados de la carrera de Secretariado Ejecutivo de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí, se aplicaron las TIC’s para la realización de esta encuesta siendo el teléfono, correo electrónico, Facebook, WhatsApp los usados para los mismos, la hipótesis planteada estaba direccionada a que por ser varón graduado de secretariado ejecutivo era una de las situaciones de dificultad para el acceso a un puesto laboral en su profesión. Las tradiciones y costumbres propias de la cultura social donde se desenvuelve la ciudad, el cantón y la región indica que aún existe la diferenciación profesional por género, es por ello que la imagen de una secretaria es más importante que la de un secretario, situación que inciden notablemente al momento de buscar empleo para los graduados.
