A importância das redes sociais na divulgação de destinos turísticos

Abstract

O turismo é um setor econômico onde a informação desempenha papel fundamental e, consequentemente, é influenciado pela emergência das mídias sociais. A utilização de mídias sociais é, atualmente, uma das atividades principais na internet, tendo estas se tornado um poderoso e efetivo meio de comunicação. As redes sociais apresentam-se como ferramenta de promoção turística de baixo custo, transparência e com resultados positivos para empresas turísticas. Variados fatores são primordiais para uma promoção turística efetiva, sendo de suma importância para os promotores turísticos a percepção das principais características que estimulam potenciais clientes no momento da escolha por um destino ou produto turístico. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório, com base em pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, tendo como objetivo apresentar a importância das redes sociais na divulgação de destinos turísticos. Concluí-se que há ampla inserção de empresas turísticas nas redes sociais que buscam efetivar um relacionamento com seus clientes, almejando melhor posicionamento no mercado.
