La noción de prosperidad en el perfeccionamiento de la sociedad cubana en el siglo XXI

Abstract

La aspiración, lícita, de prosperidad de los cubanos ha impulsado el proceso de Actualización del Modelo de Desarrollo Económico y Social. Desde las ciencias sociales se impone aportar elementos que favorezcan la orientación de dicho proceso hacia la construcción de una sociedad mejor. La indagación en la historia nacional y específicamente en la historia del pensamiento social cubano puede aportar elementos de orientación. La noción martiana al respecto y la continuidad que encontró en el siglo XX debe estar entre los elementos que nutren el perfeccionamiento de la sociedad cubana hoy. En el escrito se establece la continuidad de la idea de la prosperidad como objetivo político y de reflexión social. Se abunda en la naturaleza de la noción martiana y su trascendencia político social. Lo anterior sirve de preámbulo al tratamiento de la comprensión de la prosperidad por instituciones e individuos.
