Abstract

En el presente trabajo “De la responsabilidad al compromiso individual en el laboratorio†está basado en el análisis de los riesgos biológicos que están presentes en los laboratorios donde se manipula material biológico, y tiene como objetivo: reflexionar acerca de la responsabilidad individual del personal encargado de realizar esta labor que representa un alto riesgo para la salud de los trabajadores. En este sentido habría que preguntarse, ¿Por qué si las personas que manipulan material biológico están plenamente capacitadas para dicha labor, no cumplen conscientemente con las normas de bioseguridad recomendadas? En este sentido, se hace referencia a como la percepción y la evaluación del riesgo dependen de la persona que lo afronte, de la posición asumida, dela experiencia en el puesto de trabajo,de la confianza contraída al afrontar la labor diaria como una rutina sin consecuencias, así como dela responsabilidad en la tarea que realiza.
