Reflexões sobre a nacionalidade: independência do Brasil e a construção de patriotismo nos discursos do Jornal Campinas de 1936

Abstract

Esse artigo pensará e fará uma análise sobre os discursos produzidos sobre a independência do Brasil, as construções do sentimento de patriotismo e de civismo pautados nos acontecimentos do sete de setembro presentes nos discursos do Jornal Campinas de 1936 que circulou na região do grande Araranguá, Santa Catarina, Brasil em meados da década de 30. Nesse presente trabalho, se articulou conceitos tocantes ao tema e a mídia impressa como fonte possível na pesquisa histórica. Torna-se importante ressaltar a ideia de coletividade, de passado e imaginário comum que são fundamentados pelos discursos midiáticos. Nesse sentido, os discursos do Jornal Campinas construíam narrativas comuns para serem aceitas por todos aqueles que eram considerados “homens de conduta†.
