O ensino de artes visuais para alunos com deficiência visual

Abstract

Este estudo tem por objetivo compreender as metodologias do professor da disciplina de Artes, no ensino de artes visuais para alunos com deficiência visual. Metodologicamente, esta pesquisa enquadra-se como descritiva com abordagem qualitativa, sendo desenvolvida em uma escola municipal da rede pública de ensino que atende alunos do ensino fundamental da região periférica de Parintins, AM, Brasil. Os resultados indicam que a escola favorece recursos pedagógicos de apoio para a efetivação do ensino-aprendizagem do aluno com baixa visão. Ao mesmo tempo, o ambiente educacional não oferece nenhum tipo de capacitação ao professor para administrar os materiais pedagógicos disponíveis. Portanto, o ensino de artes visuais para pessoas com deficiência visual é possível de ser realizado com metodologias eficazes com base na expertise do docente, materiais pedagógicos eficazes, apoio especializado e políticas públicas eficientes.
