Los patrones de asentamiento aborigen regional en Cuba y su representación cartográfica en las provincias Ciego de à vila y Camagüey

Abstract

El trabajo presenta un estudio sobre los patrones de asentamiento regional en la región que corresponde a las provincias Ciego de à vila y Camagüey, en Cuba. Se constatan algunas regularidades en función de la organización, dinamismo y adaptabilidad de las comunidades aborígenes que poblaron el territorio teniendo en cuenta: las categorías de los sitios arqueológicos recogidos en el Censo Arqueológico Aborigen de Cuba (2013), su relación con las unidades de paisaje, los estudios de la actividad económica subsistencial en los residuarios, las prácticas superestructurales, entre otros elementos. Acompañan al artículo representaciones cartográficas que caracterizan de manera integrada los análisis de los patrones de asentamiento aborigen en la región.
