Caracterización agro productiva y de comercialización en las comunidades Ts´achilas

Abstract

La presente investigación se llevó a cabo en la provincia de Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, con el objetivo de realizar la caracterización agroproductiva y de comercialización en las comunidades Ts´achilas; para lo cual se realizó un censo agropecuario con ayuda del Instituto Superior Calazacón en las comunidades Tsáchilas: Colorados del Búa, Cóngoma, Los Naranjos, Otongo Mapalí, El Poste y Peripa excepto Chiguilpe. Los resultados del censo fueron los siguientes: El cultivo principal en las comunas Ts’achilas es el plátano; el análisis por comuna fue: el plátano, en la comuna Los Naranjos (98.41%); el orito, en la comuna Otongo Mapalí (32.61%); cacao, en Colorados del Búa (13.73%). La mayor actividad pecuaria está en Colorados del Búa con la crianza de gallinas (96.88%). Sobre mercadeo se determinó que las ventas son a través de intermediarios, sobre todo en la comuna Peripa (77.78%); en la comuna Otongo Mapalí el 17.65% exporta.
