Análisis de la contaminación ambiental y sus repercusiones en la ciudad de Milagro – Ecuador

Abstract

En la ciudad de Milagro se ha incrementado un gran problema a causa de la contaminación que provocan los desechos sólidos, al mismo tiempo que las industrias y la población aumenta siendo el plástico y el cartón que se encuentran en gran producción, por el cual no reciben un procedimiento adecuado y oportuno. En el largo periodo de fundación del cantón la población ha crecido y la huella de sus actividades de poco respeto al ambiente dejan transformaciones o contaminación que reduce el bienestar y buen vivir, acumulando Residuos Sólidos Urbanos (RSU) en las calles, ríos, veredas etc. Todo esto trae como consecuencia enfermedades las mismas que pueden ser leves o graves, ya que mediante esta contaminación estamos dañando el medio ambiente el mismo que nos ofrece diversidad de ecosistemas. Una de las fuentes de trabajo que han evolucionado en la ciudad de Milagro ha sido el reciclaje del cartón y plástico ayudando en gran parte a evitar la contaminación ambiental.
