El entrenamiento para padres y su incidencia en los problemas del comportamiento de los niños

Abstract

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo determinar la efectividad del entrenamiento para padres en familias donde se encuentren niños con problemas de conducta. En los últimos años, muchas son las intervenciones recomendadas para este grupo, que se estima que tiene una prevalencia de entre el 6-15% de los pacientes. Los trastornos de conducta no solo afectan al niño, sino tienen un efecto que alcanza a su familia, escuela, amistades, rendimiento académico y autoconcepto. La investigación se la realizó con 18 familias que terminaron las 6 sesiones ofrecidas por el programa. El tipo de investigación fue longitudinal y los instrumentos usados fueron el CBCL, una ficha sociodemográfica, observación y entrevista. Los resultados demuestran cambios no solo a nivel del comportamiento, sino también se ven mejorías en los ámbitos de los problemas afectivos, ansiosos y somáticos de los niños.
