La función orientadora de la comunicación en el proceso de formación del residente en cirugía pediátrica

Abstract

La presente investigación constituye un aporte a la formación del residente en cirugía pediátrica en tanto aborda un tema no estudiado hasta el momento, la función orientadora de la comunicación como elemento esencial de la tarea docente-asistencial del referido profesional. Se pretende ofrecer una alternativa metodológica que favorezca la formación integral del residente, donde se privilegie el diálogo y la reflexión entre cirujano y paciente. La muestra está integrada por siete residentes, cinco de primer año, uno de tercero y uno de cuarto año. La actualidad radica en que la función orientadora de la comunicación en el proceso de formación del residente en cirugía pediátrica no ha sido abordada por otros autores, ni en Cuba ni a nivel internacional, y que es determinante para la formación integral del residente en cirugía pediátrica. Se realizarán talleres de opinión crítica y construcción colectiva para evaluar la efectividad de la alternativa metodológica.
