Abstract

En la obra de José Martí se pueden encontrar valiosos testimonios sobre la necesidad de proteger a la naturaleza. Tales referencias aparecen en su quehacer tempranamente y con evidente amor, por lo que constituyen un importante recurso para la educación ambiental. En la relación hombre-naturaleza se destacan en Martí tres vertientes fundamentales: La educación, la ética y la estética. Es por ello que el objetivo del siguiente trabajo es explicar, cómo ven diferentes autores, el legado que nos deja en sus textos José Martí, acerca de la necesidad de proteger la naturaleza desde tiempos inmemorables.
