O que a economia ainda não explica: entre escassez e abundância no futuro ou a grande dúvida do presente

Abstract

O que será das somas financeiras e suas aplicações, acumuladas e arriscadas durante muitos anos de sociedade capitalista? Esta breve pesquisa tem por objetivo verificar como as múltiplas possibilidades e irregularidades no pensamento e na ação (seja ela, ou não racionalmente pautada) afetarão o desvelar do futuro na economia cuja subsistência é guiada por dois antagônicos “monstros†: a abundância e a escassez. Trata-se de estudo teórico, bibliográfico e qualitativo, voltado, sobretudo, às noções “otimistas†inauguradas por Diamandis e Kotler (2012). Suscitar-se-ão reflexões sobre o lugar humano na gestão de recursos limitados e sua virtual dificuldade em lidar com processos críticos (mormente perante globalização e rechaço dos intervencionismos estatais) recorrentes.
