Abstract

En este documento se habla acerca de la ética profesional en la medicina. Aquella conjugación de valores que enmarcan una atención de calidad inherente a un profesional que ama lo que hace. Se busca abarcar en este contexto la cronología de avances incursionados por la medicina en beneficio de la humanidad, hechos que han marcado trascendencia en el campo médico, así como testimonios inéditos de pacientes que han vivenciado situaciones en las cuales galenos han carecido de empatía con quienes los necesitaban.
