Abstract

Las instituciones sociales son un sistema de convenciones sociales duraderas y organizadas normalmente independientes del gobierno del país en que se encuentren, dirigidas por una infraestructura reconocible dentro de la sociedad y tienen como el fin la satisfacción de las necesidades fundamentales de la comunidad. Las instituciones sociales son las grandes conservadoras y transmisoras de la herencia cultural, función que ejercen como consecuencia de su carácter, es decir, de que no dependen de ningún individuo o grupo. Los patrones institucionales viven a través de las personalidades individuales.
