Responsabilidad social empresarial y potenciación de género en el municipio de Consolación del sur

Abstract

Las mujeres constituyen una fuerza productiva importante en cualquier localidad, por lo que el incremento de su participación activa en las localidades y la necesidad de propiciar condiciones de igualdad para el desarrollo y la participación de éstas, en el desarrollo local sostenible sustentado, en “buenas prácticas†de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial, constituye hoy un reto para los gobiernos locales en particular y el tejido empresarial e institucional cubano, en general. El municipio de Consolación del Sur; es actualmente uno de los municipios del país escogido para llevar a cabo su Programa de Desarrollo Integral, donde las mujeres forman un grupo poblacional vital en la construcción política, social y económica del territorio pues constituyen, según datos estadísticos municipales del año 2017, el 49,11% del total de habitantes y el 47% de la población económicamente activa, sin embargo existen aún brechas de géneroen la participación política y toma de decisiones a nivel local y en la participación laboral de las mujeres en el sector empresarial , que propenda el desarrollo local.
