Os parques urbanos de Aracaju/ SE - Brasil enquanto espaços públicos de lazer e turismo

Abstract

Na contemporaneidade, os espaços públicos urbanos são apropriados por diferentes agentes, onde se incluem os residentes e visitantes das cidades, o que gera distintos modos de usos, não usos e contra – usos destes espaços. Partindo desse pressuposto, este artigo objetiva analisar os parques urbanos da cidade de Aracaju/SE, Brasil, enquanto espaços públicos de lazer e turismo sob a ótica da produção e consumo. No que tange aos recursos metodológicos, utilizou-se a pesquisa de base quanti-qualitativa que envolveu levantamento bibliográfico, pesquisas de campo com aplicação de questionários, entrevistas, entre outros. Como principais conclusões, analisou-se que os parques urbanos possuem configurações antagônicas, permeadas por interesses privativos, lucrativos e de relações de poder. Neste sentido, as inúmeras contradições que podem existir no espaço urbano são evidenciadas e atreladas ao lazer e ao turismo.
