Abstract

Referirse a Simón Rodríguez como preceptor del Libertador Simón Bolivar es de inestimable valor para la formación de valores de las nuevas generaciones de latinoamericanos, que han sido fieles continuadores del pensamiento latinoamericano y universal y que han bebido de la sabia dejada por muchos maestros de la talla de José de la Luz y Caballero, Félix Varela, José Martí, Simón Rodríguez, por mencionar algunos de los que han aportado a la identidad latinoamericana en la lucha contra las apetencias del colonialismo y el neocolonialismo de imponer sus designios imperiales y desvirtuar el pensamiento y la acción de estos próceres.
