Tendencias actuales sobre el tratamiento de la educación ambiental comunitaria

Abstract

La educación ambiental comunitaria está orientada a la capacitación de la comunidad para lograr en ellos una actitud responsable respecto al medio ambiente y de esta manera sus estilos de vida. Se hace necesario modificar comportamientos y formas de convivencia, incluyendo el desarrollo de valores y actitudes. Para encontrar soluciones a los enormes problemas ambientales que padece el planeta, es necesaria la movilización de todos los protagonistas para hacer frente al desafío, formular de manera conjunta las respuestas a los problemas ambientales y sentar las bases para una nueva visión de este proceso comunitario. Es por ello que se hace importante sistematizar las tendencias actuales sobre el tratamiento de la educación ambiental comunitaria a partir de los referentes teóricos para mitigar las problemáticas ambientales en las comunidades y lograr que los actores sociales sientan la necesidad de aprendizaje y educación ambiental en el marco de un entorno educativo.
