Abstract

El pensamiento educativo de Fidel Castro es resumen y continuidad de lo más valioso de las tradiciones patriótico – pedagógicas cubanas. Resulta innegable el papel que ha jugado la figura de Fidel para los miles de maestros y profesores que se han formado en Cuba desde que triunfó la Revolución cubana. Tal significación se sustenta en su fructífero y permanente ideario pedagógico forjado desde su propio quehacer teórico – práctico en una trayectoria revolucionaria, que rebasa las seis décadas, nutrida de raíces martianas y marxistas, que permite descubrir como hilo conductor a su humanismo ético y a la educación como instrumento de transformación social.
