Evaluación del impacto asociativo para la comercialización de la zanahoria. Caso: ASOPAVIT Chimborazo, Ecuador

Abstract

La presente investigación trata sobre la asociatividad para la comercialización de la zanahoria (Daucus carota L.) en la Asociación de Producción Agrícola Vida Tierra (ASOPAVIT), ya que no está debidamente organizada, por lo que se propone investigar como la asociatividad favorecerá o influirá en la comercialización; para ello es necesario conocer, evaluar y fortalecer las posibles debilidades existentes en la comercialización de la zanahoria. En la primera fase se desarrolló un diagnóstico de las etapas del proceso de comercialización, evaluando la cadena previa al proceso asociativo versus una propuesta para comercializar la zanahoria de manera asociada, (dicha propuesta forma parte de la tercera fase de esta investigación); evidenciándose una mejora en los ingresos y alianzas estratégicas de comercialización. En la segunda fase se definió las dimensiones del impacto de la asociatividad, dando como resultado el acceso de los miembros de la asociación a mercados formales mejorando la calidad de vida de las personas que se dedican a cultivar este producto.
