Análisis histórico de la interacción vanguardia política-campesinado. la experiencia de la revolución cubana

Abstract

La Revolución cubana para acceder al poder, el Primero de Enero de 1959, necesitó de la cooperación de los campesinos serranos orientales, habitantes naturales de la Sierra Maestra, región donde se asentó el núcleo insurreccional revolucionario. Este núcleo contenía la vanguardia política del proceso revolucionario, aunque poseía sujetos portadores a lo largo de todo el territorio nacional. De manera progresiva se produjo un proceso de interacción entre la vanguardia política y el campesinado de la zona serrana que llevó a la incorporación de numerosos campesinos, convertidos en actores fundamentales tanto de sustentación alimentaria, enlaces comunicativos entre la Sierra y el Llano o en protagonistas guerrilleros con las armas en las manos. El presente artículo revela el proceso de interacción entre la vanguardia política revolucionaria y el campesinado de la Sierra Maestra, hecho singular y esencial que influyó decisivamente en la victoria de la Revolución, objetivo compartido por ambos actores.
