Miel en los años: calidad de vida del adulto mayor y desarrollo sociocultural en Jobabo

Abstract

El envejecimiento poblacional como fenómeno social vigente en nuestra sociedad, nos plantea la necesidad de buscar alternativas para vincular la tercera edad a los procesos sociales como fuerza productiva, aceptando esta edad como una etapa de evolución y no de retroceso, más saludables física y mentalmente. El trabajo desarrollado en la CUAM de Jobabo, resultó una fortaleza para poner en práctica el proyecto de gestión integrada municipal, para elevar la calidad de vida del adulto mayor “Miel en los Años†, y aportar al desarrollo local sostenible del territorio. El Centro Universitario Municipal Jobabo como institución ejecutora, vincula a los OACES de Salud, INDER y Educación que conforman el trabajo del CUM, así como a Cultura y otras instituciones comprometidas con esta tarea. Este trabajo tiene el propósito de valorar la transformación sociocultural y agroecológica ocurrida en el Municipio de Jobabo con la realización del proyecto sociocultural “Miel en los Años†y poner nuestras reflexiones al servicio de las transformaciones económicas y sociales contenidas en los lineamientos del Sexto Congreso del Partido.
