Estudio del proceso de obtención de extractos de plantas medicinales

Abstract

En el trabajo de investigación se estudió el proceso de obtención de extractos de plantas medicinales, se consideró tres variables de estudio: proceso de extracción, tipo de mezcla de solvente y tipo de planta medicinal. Se evaluó rendimiento, costos de producción, aceptabilidad y composición de extractos. Con el análisis de rendimiento y costos de producción se estableció que el mejor tratamiento es el realizado con menta macerada; destilación simple; mezcla de solvente etanol-agua: 25% -75% en el que se obtiene 295 ml de extracto al emplear 425 ml de mezcla de solvente y 75 gramos de planta a un costo de 1 dólar con 79 centavos los 20 ml de extracto de menta; en lo que se refiere al análisis de aceptabilidad el extracto de toronjil macerado; destilación simple; mezcla de solvente etanol-agua: 50 % - 50% el aroma gusta mucho; se realizó un análisis de composición del cual se obtuvo como resultados que en los extractos están presentes taninos, flavonoides, triterpenos y aceites esenciales.
