Vulnerabilidad hacia la pobreza en el contexto rural cubano: entrevista individual

Abstract

El presente artículo propone una mirada crítica, desde la investigación social, a los resultados de una entrevista elaborada y aplicada sobre la base del establecimiento y análisis de diferentes indicadores de vulnerabilidad hacia la pobreza que repercuten actualmente en el contexto cubano rural. La entrevista se realizó a una a una mujer de la comunidad rural “El Río†, situada en el municipio Jaruco de la provincia cubana, Mayabeque. Las bases para la realización de este estudio, desde una óptica general, se encuentran en la estrecha relación teórica entre desigualdad y pobreza. Las particularidades del fenómeno en Cuba, específicamente desde 1959, aportan a este artículo hechos socioeconómicos y políticos que marcaron las realidades precedentes y, por consiguiente, condicionaron los actuales escenarios de vulnerabilidad hacia la pobreza en Cuba. Fueron empleados, además, varios métodos teóricos de obtención de información tales como el análisis- síntesis, el histórico lógico y la inducción – deducción.
