El marketing social como alternativa para la sostenibilidad de las políticas públicas encaminadas a eliminar la exclusión de los adultos mayores en la ciudad de Riobamba

Abstract

En muchos países del mundo se está dando el fenómeno social del envejecimiento de su población. Sin embargo, la sociedad no siempre está preparada para enfrentar esta situación lo que trae consigo la exclusión social de los adultos mayores. El objetivo de este trabajo es mostrar cómo el marketing social podría contribuir a la sostenibilidad de las políticas públicas encaminadas a eliminar la exclusión de los adultos mayores en la sociedad. El estudio se basa en el análisis de la situación de los adultos mayores en el Ecuador y, específicamente, en la Ciudad de Riobamba. Además, se plantean las políticas públicas orientadas al adulto mayor en el Ecuador y se analiza su nivel de implementación en Riobamba. Finalmente, se argumenta cómo el marketing social contribuiría a revertir la situación existente.
