Aplicación de agua en diferentes láminas y frecuencias de riego para cultivo de fresa (fragaria vesca)

Abstract

El desconocimiento de la lámina de agua y la frecuencia de riego adecuadas para la aplicación en el cultivo de fresa conducen a que se aplique riego con falta o exceso de agua, lo cual generalmente está asociado a problemas fitosanitarios y estrés hídrico, los mismos que se evidencian en disminuciones significativas en la producción. El ensayo se efectúo en la provincia de Tungurahua, a la altitud de 2 700 msnm, con el propósito de: evaluar tres láminas de riego calculadas en base a parámetros de suelo y dos frecuencias de riego, aplicadas por el método de goteo localizado en el cultivo de fresa (Fragaria vesca) Var. Diamante. La aplicación 4,9 mm cada 24 horas, produjo los mejores resultados, al reportar un promedio semanal de 887 Kg/ha de fruta.(22)(24)(26)
