Fajas hidrorreguladoras protectoras de aguas y suelos para la defensa territorial del municipio Manatí

Abstract

El desarrollo forestal futuro requiere de nuevos enfoques, que permitan ampliar las posibilidades de resolver las necesidades siempre crecientes de la población, se desarrollara un trabajo en áreas del río Corpa, Perteneciente a la CCS Mártires de Manatí en el municipio de Manatí, provincia de Las Tunas con el objetivo de elaborar un proyecto de reforestación de bosques protectores de aguas y suelos, que garantice el potencial de los recursos naturales de este agroecosistema, se plantaran especies de alto valor económico y especies preciosas como son: caoba (Swetenia mahagoni), roble (Tabebuia angustata), bambú (Bambusia Bulgaris), majagua (Hibiscus elatus), júcaro amarillo(Buchenavia capitata) guácima(Guazuma tomentosa), plantas melíferas y frutales, donde se espera lograr una supervivencia de más del 85 %. Con la reforestación de esta faja hidrorreguladora, se pretende concretar la fomentación de bosques protectores de agua y suelo y para uso de la defensa territorial del municipio de Manatí.
