Abstract

Fernando Boytel Jambú es sin lugar a dudas una de las grandes personalidades del devenir histórico, social y cultural de Santiago de Cuba, a pesar de sus meritorios aportes en diversos campos de las ciencias naturales e históricas; su labor ha sido poco divulgada y estudiada en el marco intelectual de Cuba. Esta investigación realiza un estudio de los trabajos inéditos de Fernando Boytel y así desentrañar su contribución a ciencias como la Historiografía, en Santiago de Cuba en el período de 1962-1986.
