Estrategias para el ingreso del Ecuador al foro de cooperación económica Asia – pacifico (APEC)

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo generar estrategias para el ingreso del Ecuador al Foro de Cooperación Económica Asia Pacifico (APEC), considerando las oportunidades que ofrece actualmente la región, al tener el 62% del PIB mundial, el 42.8% de los habitantes del mundo y aproximadamente el 43% del comercio global; constituyéndose en la región más grande y dinámica del mundo. Los principales resultados de esta investigación fueron: la metodología para la definición y validación del tipo de estrategia a utilizar. Se emplearon diferentes métodos, técnicas y herramientas como la revisión bibliográfica, observación científica, entrevista, trabajo de campo, método de expertos y técnicas estadísticas para el procesamiento de datos. Finalmente, se exponen las conclusiones las cuales pueden promover nuevas interrogantes susceptibles de investigaciones futuras.
