Abstract

Hoy en día las organizaciones necesitan contar con herramientas de gestión que les permita evaluar en forma periódica los resultados obtenidos en un tiempo determinado, y de ser el caso tomar acciones correctivas oportunas para mejorarlo. Visto así el Cuadro de Mando Integral es una de las principales y novedosas herramientas que permite efectuar un análisis integral periódico de las principales áreas funcionales de la organización, a través de una medición completa de su gestión, razón por la cual se diseñó el Cuadro de Mando Integral para Instituciones de la Salud en Ecuador, definiendo indicadores de gestión por cada una de las cuatro perspectivas financieras, clientes, procesos internos y aprendizaje y crecimiento, a través de los cuales se conocerá el grado de eficiencia en el manejo de los recursos, su eficacia respecto al cumplimiento de sus objetivos planteados y su efectividad, siendo sus Directivos quienes tomen decisiones y adopten acciones correctivas oportunas de ser el caso.
