Os gastos com saúde nos municípios pertencentes à Microrregião de Uberlândia

Abstract

Este artigo mediu a dinâmica dos gastos com saúde, no período de 1998 a 2012, dos municípios pertencentes à Microrregião de Uberlândia. Mais especificamente avaliou os efeitos do Pacto pela Saúde nas despesas com saúde pública nos municípios da Microrregião de Uberlândia comparados ao Município Uberlândia. Para isto, utilizou-se da metodologia econométrica denominada de Diferenças em Diferenças com Ajuste de Poligonais. Os resultados demonstraram que a evolução dos gastos com saúde pública do Município de Uberlândia foi superior aos demais municípios da Microrregião Uberlândia. Também, evidenciou que os gastos com saúde pública, de forma conjugada, entre o Município de Uberlândia e os demais municípios avaliados incrementaram seus gastos com saúde, após a vigência do Pacto pela Saúde, em 2006.
