Importancia de los canales de comunicación digital para los turistas millennials. Caso Guayaquil – Ecuador

Abstract

Guayaquil es una ciudad cosmopolita y una de las principales del Ecuador con un aproximado de 2´278.691 habitantes. Este lugar, es una de los más visitados del país por turistas nacionales y extranjeros, la cual se compone de colombianos (21%) peruanos (17%) y estadounidenses (15%). Una nueva generación denominada “millennials†modifica el quehacer comunicacional y turístico generando nuevas demandas en la información expuesta, en las narativas y en el uso de las herramientas digitales. En este texto se realiza un diagnóstico de los turistas extranjeros que visitan Guayaquil, se caracteriza a los jóvenes visitantes y se recomiendas prácticas comunicacionales para este nuevo tipo de públicos.
