El manejo integrado de zonas costeras y el derecho a la equidad de género

Abstract

La investigación muestra en un nivel exploratorio el enfoque de género para los estudios de manejo integrado en zonas costeras (MIZC). No se trata de un análisis binario de la participación hombre-mujer, sino de lograr una comprensión de las relaciones entre ambos, con el fin de contribuir a superar la situación histórica cultural de desventaja de la mujer y estimule la perspectiva de género en las iniciativas locales para el manejo de la zona costera. Se valora el marco jurídico ambiental vigente, relacionado con el tema e identifican los vicios de androcentrismo, dicotomismo sexual, insensibilidad al género, sobregeneralización, sobrespecificidad y el doble parámetro de los que adolecen, sobre la base de que un enfoque de género en la comprensión del Derecho debe contribuir a identificar el principio de igualdad en el tratamiento de hombres y mujeres.
