Caracterización morfoagronómica de cinco cultivares de frijol común (phaseolus vulgaris l) en el municipio de Jobabo

Abstract

La investigación se realizó en la CCSF “Batalla de Palo Seco†, ubicada en el Consejo Popular número 8, Las Tablas, al noreste del municipio Jobabo, en la provincia de Las Tunas, con el objetivo de evaluar el comportamiento agroproductivo de cinco cultivares de frijol (Bat-304, Blanco Catalán, Delicias 364, Quivicán y Velasco largo,) cultivares representativos dentro de la producción de estos granos, para incrementar la escasa diversidad y los bajos rendimientos que caracterizan el cultivo en el municipio. Se empleó un diseño experimental de bloques al azar con cuatro réplicas en un suelo Pardo sin carbonato. Se evaluaron los Indicadores agromorfofisiológicos del cultivo, el rendimiento y sus principales componentes. Números de granos por vainas, vainas por plantas. El experimento se condujo durante el periodo de octubre 2011 a enero de 2012 (experimento1) y de octubre 2012 a enero 2013 (experimento 2). Los datos obtenidos en las diferentes mediciones se procesaron estadísticamente con el software Estadística, versión 2, del Instituto de Ciencia Animal. Del análisis se obtuvo que los cultivares Delicias 364, seguida por la Bat-304 fueron los de mayor rendimiento agrícola
