Entre el ser y el deber ser del periodismo digital

Abstract

El presente artículo trata un problema global – la necesidad de hacer un periodismo digital de calidad – desde una perspectiva particular – los problemas que hoy presenta la redacción digital del Telecentro Solvisión en Guantánamo, Cuba – pues mediante la aplicación de diversas técnicas de investigación tales como la observación participante, la aplicación de cuestionarios, entrevistas semiestructuradas y grupos de discusión, se logró realizar un mapeo de las competencias profesionales y un diagnóstico de las rutinas productivas de la redacción digital así como la evaluación del contenido final que se ofrece en el ciberespacio. Una vez identificados los problemas, el artículo ofrece una serie de elementos que deben ser incorporados en los haceres ciberperiodísticos de este medio a fin de resolver el imperativo que debe movilizar a sus integrantes, abrazar el periodismo digital – que implica un periodismo hipermedial o multimedial – como el futuro más inmediato de la profesión.
