El papel de los Stakeholders en la gestión de la calidad universitaria: el enfoque de la ISO 9001:2015

Abstract

Para garantizar la calidad del servicio educativo, en las instituciones de educación superior se emplean diferentes modelos, entre ellos el de la norma ISO 9001:2015. En el marco de la gestión de la calidad, en este trabajo se analiza el papel de las diferentes partes interesadas (stakeholders) en el desempeño de las universidades. Para ello, se realiza una reflexión inicial sobre la calidad en la educación superior y las teorías de los stakeholders para, sobre esta base, establecer la vinculación entre ambos conceptos, a la luz de los principios y requisitos de la calidad establecidos en la ISO 9001:2015. Se identifican los stakeholders de las universidades, sus posibles impactos y algunas de las estrategias posibles para aprovechar las oportunidades y minimizar los impactos negativos. La gestión de las relaciones con sus stakeholders posibilita a las universidades dar cumplimiento a su misión, alcanzar su visión y cumplir su responsabilidad social.
