Funcionalidad familiar y control glicemico en adultos diabeticos tipo2 en una comunidad rural de Tamaulipas, Mexico

Abstract

La familia es el núcleo de la sociedad fuente de donde proviene el apoyo social e individual para la persona infuyendo en las condicionantes del proceso salud-enfermedad, como la diabetes mellitus tipo 2 donde uno de los obstáculos para cumplir con el tratamiento es la falta de apoyo familiar. Objetivo: Determinar la asociación entre funcionalidad familiar y control glucemico en adultos diabeticos tipo2 en una comunidad rural de Tamaulipas. Metodología: Estudio de tipo descriptivo, observacional, analítico, trasversal y correlacional .Muestra constítuida por 100 pacientes mediante muestreo no probabilístico por disponibilidad .Se utilizó cédula de datos personales y test de funcionamiento familiar FF-SIL .Resultados: 39.3% de los pacientes se encuentran en familias moderadamente funcionales. Al analizar el control glicémico se encontró un 64.1% con buen control glucemico. Conclusión: Si existe asociación entre el funcionamiento familiar y control glicémico en los adultos diabéticos estudiados. (Rho = .835, p = 0.000).
