Abstract

Las particularidades del turismo comunitario nacional y mundial son analizadas desde diferentes casos de estudio, especialmente del contexto latino americano, donde se establece que el potencial turístico puede verse afectado por un conjunto de factores de sus recursos naturales y de la capacidad de gestión local para generar beneficios económicos, resaltando la concertación entre todos los actores interesados en las actividades turísticas para el desarrollo territorial. Los resultados permitieron concluir que las potencialidades y realidades turísticas en la parroquia San Lorenzo del cantón Guaranda requieren de ejes estratégicos para la oferta de turismo comunitario entre ellos: organización, capacitación, intervención y aprovechamiento en cuanto a su desarrollo y explotación.
