Abstract

La República del Ecuador se encuentra inmersa en un entorno mundial orientado principalmente por el avance de las Tecnologías de Información, las que definen nuevos paradigmas de desarrollo, en un escenario en el que se plantean sociedades más integradas, gobiernos más transparentes, mejor educación y salud, y la participación rápida así como ágil en mercados a nivel regional, nacional y mundial. Es así que, resulta importante implementar mecanismos y estrategias de gestión que permitan la incorporación nuevos enfoques y metodologías para llevar a cabo procedimientos de control en este caso sobre la gestión de tecnologías de la información, y la dotación de herramientas que aseguren el cumplimiento de los objetivos institucionales.
